Burnaby living at its best

May 31st, 2005

The Burnaby real estate market just got hotter! Last weekend, we attended a preview of Centre Point Living, the lastest apartment/townhouse project in Metrotown. Developed by Intracorp Developments Ltd., the 32 storey apartment building is set to be the tallest residential tower in Metrotown. It’s definitely an exciting addition for Burnaby!

Weekend Report

May 24th, 2005

If you’re ever looking for peace and quiet on a long weekend, stay in town! That’s what we did. The roads, malls, and parks weren’t as busy as they normally are. Even our phones weren’t ringing off the hook as they usually are. We attended a family friend’s wedding on Saturday night at Kirin Restaurant at Cambie and 12th Avenue. It was the perfect choice of venue because there ...

Movie night

May 20th, 2005

Last night, we watched The Phantom of the Opera on DVD, directed by Joel Schumaker. I had seen the production live years ago (before the kids of course) so it was nice to see it again. It was my youngest sister’s turn to cook and she ...

Camping anyone?

May 17th, 2005

This coming long weekend marks the first weekend when many Canadians venture into the great outdoors to enjoy a little rest and relaxation. Knowing the rejuvenating effects of nature, it’s a shame we’ve never planned a family camping trip. We’ve never pitched a tent together, roasted marshmallows over an open fire or slept under the stars. But we would never deny these pleasures ...

Real estate update

May 16th, 2005

The Burnaby real estate market has been extremely busy for us the last couple of months. That explains why we haven’t posted anything in a while. It’s funny, just when it seems like we’ve run through all of our inventory (that’s how busy we’ve been), calls for home evaluations flood our phone lines. It’s great timing! We recentlly listed a couple of townhomes at 6662 Dunblane ...
